The unit is now ready to send the log once the buffer is full.
Note:
The SMTP Server is the outgoing e-mail server. Please consult with the
network administrator for any missing information. Without the proper SMTP
Server, the unit will not be able to e-mail the logs out regardless of all other
settings.
SNMP Setup
The following can be set from this screen:
•
Enable SNMP
SNMP is disabled by default. To enable SNMP, click in the box next to
this option. A checkmark appears.
Note:
If SNMP is not being used, disable it to prevent a security hazard.

Use Concatenated Username & Password as Communities
Once enabled, you can use a concatenated username and password as
communities. For example “adminpassword” would work if the default
username and password are used. To enable, click in the box next to
this option. A checkmark appears.
•
Community 1
You can enter a password for “Community 1” by typing it in the
Community 1
: text box. To set “community 1” to be read/write, then
click in the
write access
box. A checkmark appears. Leave it
unchecked to be read only.
Note:
If you are using “Community 1”, do not check the
Use
Concatenated Username&Password as Communities
box.
