4. Loosen the corner screws on the heater outlet cover (3) and remove the decal (4).
5. Slide the air divert over the screws (3).
6. Tighten the screws (3).

Installing for recirculating operation (indoor)
Before You Begin
• Make sure the heater location has a minimum clearance from combustibles of 12 in. from the top,
bottom and sides of the heater.
• Combustible material must be a minimum distance of 6 ft. from the discharge air outlet of the heater.
• The heater must be installed a minimum of 24 in. from the ground in poultry applications and mini-
mum of 48 in. from the ground in hog confinement.
• Make sure that the bottom air intake is not restricted in any manner.
What You Should Know
1. Install the j-hooks with the lock nuts into the four corners of the heater.
NOTE:
Adjust the length of the j-hooks using the lock nut.
2. Attach the chain to each j-hook previously installed on the heater.
3. Install the hanging j-hooks to adequate support members.
4. Hang the heater by connecting the chains to the hanging j-hooks.
5. Use a level to make sure the heater is level in all directions.
6. Install the gas piping and the electrical wiring in accordance with local codes, or, in the absence of
local codes, with the National Electrical Code and ANSI/NFPA 70-1993 and the standard for the
storage and handling of liquefied petroleum.
