Item Field Description
1 Expansion box
name
Used to identify the Bin Scale Module on the tank leg. The name is set by the
user in the EDGE Controller system configuration.
2 Name
Used to identify the tank that the Bin Scale Module is on. The name is set by
the user in the EDGE Controller Bulk Feed Tank configuration.
3 Feed weight Shows the weight of the feed currently in the tank, after it has been cali-
brated. Before calibration, dashes are shown.
When a single tank is connected, the display continuously shows the weight
of that tank. When more than one tank is connected, the display alternates
between the tanks every 2 seconds.
NOTE: Bin Scale Modules and tanks may be named in order to quickly identify the equipment.
To configure and set up the Bin Scale Module , the user must use the EDGE Controller that is connected
to the module.
Conditions of use and installation
• All legs should have its own load cell.
• Only three wires load cells type can be connected to a Bin Scale 3 wires LC model.
• Only four wires load cells type can be connected to a Bin Scale 4 wires LC model.
• For a given tank:
— only identical load cell type on all of its legs must be used. No mix is allowed;
— all of its load cells must be connected to the same bin scale module.
• A Bin scale module can be used for more than one tank.
• Depending on the number of legs on a tank, some Bin Scale inputs might not be used.
