5. TECHNICAL INFORMATION
5.1 GENERAL DESCRIPTION
5.1.1 MACHINE
We can summarise the machine’ s main features as
follows:
- The form of the squeegee, the air flows and the
specially designed rubber blades produce excellent
drying results even on tiled floors. Thanks to the particular
balanced shape of the machine frame and the squeegee
support, no water residues are left behind in a curve,
and even when a smaller squeegee is used.
- Excellent distribution of weights and geometries: the
centre of gravity is very low , also thanks to the very
heavy brush plate and because the batteries are located
at the level of the wheels.
- A heavy weight on the brushes makes them work
efficiently on the floor. The pressure is generated by
the weight of the plate, without springs or additional
devices that lead to dif ficulties and inaccuracy. The
entire mass is generated by the hanging weight of a
15 mm steel ship’s plate.
- A large volume of water in the t anks reduces dead
time since fewer trips are needed to collect water and
dump dirt. There is no delicate flexible diaphragm that,
at a technical level, is difficult to clean.
- A few dozen litres of water in the recovery t ank are
used to decant any foam (dangerous for the suction
motor). The cone under the top cover of the tank that
separates the foam area from the air suction area acts
as another decanting system. The inner area of the
cone is “sealed” at the bottom against the rising water.
The air, from which the foam - that remains out side -
has been removed, is vacuumed from the pores at the
top. The traction system is designed for the machine
weights, making the machine responsive and easy to
handle.
- Robust construction. The frame and the squeegee,
built with thick sheet metal - thickness 6 mm, 8 mm, 10
mm up to 20 mm – are laser cut and welded. The brush
plate is made from 15 mm ship’ s sheet metal, with a
surface treatment that protects the plate and the paint
for thousands of hours in a saline fog. All screws are
made with stainless steel; the tanks (body) are made
with 7-8 mm thick shockproof polyethylene. Everything
is simple and very strong, without any other complicated
designs.
- The battery comp artment can house very large
batteries, which guarantees extended running time.
- The suction motor is housed inside the machine, thus
reducing operating noise to a minimum.
- The recovery tank is very easy to clean due to the
lack of the characteristic dif ficult access points of
recovery tanks located in a lower position.
5.1.2 BATTERY
To make handling easier (considering the weight s
involved) and to avoid situations that may be dangerous
for the batteries and for the operator, we offer only box-
type battery units for this machine. This power supply
unit configuration not only is robust, but is necessary
in order to offer high performances (Ah capacity).
Regardless of the type of construction, battery
performances are indicated with the term cap acity,
which always refers to a discharge period. Another
important value is the number of possible discharges.
The capacity is expressed in amps per hour (Ah), while
the discharge period is generally indicated as 20 hours
(C20 or 20h, or not expressly indicated) or 5 hours (C5
or 5h). The discharge/charge cycles indicate the number
of times that the battery can hold a charge under the
best conditions, i.e. they indicate the useful battery
service life complying with all the necessary measures.
Therefore, the capacity of a battery varies depending
on how fast it uses energy (current). That’s why there’s
such a variation in the capacity values expressed as
C5 or C20. These factors must be taken into account
when comparing products available on the market with
our own.
This machine can be equipped with two types of batteries
that differ in terms of their construction and features.
- Pb-Acid battery with tubular armoured modules (box
type): the electrolyte level in each element must be
periodically checked!
If one element is no longer covered by the acid
solution it will oxidise in 24 hours, thus permanently
affecting that element’s performance.
Refer to the battery manual to avoid physical damage
and economic loss.
- Gel module battery (box type): this type of battery is
maintenance free and does not require special
environments for recharging (since it does not emit any
harmful gases); therefore, it is highly recommended.
It should not be taken for granted that batteries
and battery chargers with the same technical
features as those we offer will produce the same
results. Only perfect compatibility between these
elements (Pb-Acid batteries, gel batteries and battery
chargers) will safeguard the performances, the
service life, the safety and the economic value
invested.
5.1.3 BATTERY CHARGER
This type of high-frequency battery charger efficiently
charges batteries, extending their operating and service
life. In addition, because they can be configured with
optional smart cards (magnetic badges), it is a very
versatile solution that reduces the number of chargers
required in the warehouse. The same battery charger
can be used for both Pb-Acid batteries and for gel
batteries.
The information indicated on the digital display can be
used to always keep the charging process, the battery
and the battery charger under control (read the specific
manual for more details).
It should not be taken for granted that batteries

De klant moet ervoor zorgen dat de gebruikers dit boekje
gelezen hebben, of dat ze kennis genomen hebben van
de inhoud ervan en dat ze de hierin vermeld te
gebruiksaanwijzingen aandachtig volgen.
Alleen door het constant respecteren van de aanwijzingen
van dit boekje, zullen de beste resultaten bereikt worden
op niveau van veiligheid, prestatie’s, doeltreffendheid
en duurzaamheid van het product in uw bezit. Het niet
correct volgen van deze normen 7n lader (in optie)
waarover wij beschikken.
Batterijen en lader zijn basisdelen om de machine aan
te vullen en ze beïnvloeden de werking van de machine
op niveau van autonomie en prestatie’s. Enkel de juiste
samenstelling van beide toebehoren (batterijen en lader)
geeft de mogelijkheid om het beste rendement van de
machine te bereiken, zonder grote sommen geld uit te
geven. Voor gedetailleerde inlichtingen hierover, wordt
u verwezen naar de specifieke gebruiksaanwijzingen
van batterijen en lader.
De laders en batterijen die wij aanraden (in optie)
garanderen de beste combinatie met deze machine en
bieden niet allen een uitzonderlijk aanpassingsvermogen,
maar ook hele hoge kwalitatieve en functionele niveau’s.
2.2 TERMINOLOGIE EN LEGENDA SYMBOLEN
Voor meer duidelijkheid en om de verschillende aspecten
van de aanwijzingen beter te beschrijven, hebben we
volgende woorden en symbolen gebruikt:
- Machine.
Deze definitie vervangt de commerciele
naam.

De mensen die de machine gebruiken,
die de verschillende aspecten van de werking kennen,
maar die geen specifieke competentie hebben om een
technische interventie op de machine uit te voeren.
- Technieker
. De mensen die de ervaring, de technische
competentie, de kennis van de wetten en de normen
hebben, waarmee ze elk soort interventie op de machine
kunnen uitvoeren, en mogelijke gevaren kunnen
herkennen, tijdens de inst allatie, het gebruik en het
vervoer van de machine zelf.
- SYMBOOL AANWIJZING ( )
: Het ziijn bijzonder
belangrijke informatie’s om schade aan de machine te
vermijden.
- SYMBOOL WAARSCHUWING( )
: Het zijn bijzonder
belangrijke informatie’s om ernstige schade aan de

2.3 PRODUCTIDENTIFICATIE
De indentificatie etiket die zich onderaan het dashboard
bevindt, bovenaan de batterijstekker, bevat volgende
informatie:
- identificatie van de fabrikant
- CE merkteken
- Code van het model
- Model
- Spanning netvoeding
- Totaal nominaal vermogen
- Spatbescherming
- Serienummer
- Productiejaar
- Maximale helling
- Gewicht leeg
- Gewicht bij max. lading
2.4. CORRECT GEBRUIK
Deze machine is een schrobautomaat: het moet gebruikt
worden voor het schoonmaken en opzuigen van vloeibare
stoffen op vlakke, harde, horizontale, gladde of gematigd
oneffene, gelijkvormige vloeren en vrij van hinders in
zowel burgerlijke als industriële omgevingen. Elk ander
soort gebruik is streng verboden en we verzoeken u om
grote aandacht te besteden aan alle informatie over
veiligheid die u in dit boekje vindt.
De schrobautomaat verspreidt een hoeveelheid oplossing
van water en reinigingsmiddel (naar wens regelbaar)
terwijl de borstels het vuil van de vloer verwijderen.
Dankzij het afzuigsysteem van de machine, samen met
een zuigmond op de grond, worden de vloeibare stoffen
en het vuil (die door de borstels verwijderd werd) in een
enkele keer opgezogen.
Door de juiste combinatie van het reinigingsmiddel met
de verschillende soorten borstels (of schuurpads), kan
zich de machine aan alle soorten vloeren en vuil
aanpassen.
2.5. TECHNISCHE AANPASSINGEN
Deze machine werd ontworpen en gefabriceerd met
respect voor de basis veiligheidsregels en voor de
gezondheid van de gebruiker volgens de europeese
normen en daarvoor is de machine CE goedgekeurd.
Bij deze gebruikaanwijzing vindt u ook het
CE certificaat
met vermelding van de europeese normen waraan deze
machine conform is. Dit certificaat zal niet meer geldig
zijn als de machine structureel veranderd wordt zonder
overeenkomst met de fabrikant.
De fabrikant heeft het recht om technische aanpassingen
aan te brengen zonder voorafgaand bericht, om
verbeteringen aan het product aan te brengen. Door
deze reden zal het mogelijk zijn dat enkele details anders
zijn dan op commerciële kat alogen of op de beelden
van dit boekje, maar dit zal geen hinder brengen aan
de veiligheid van de machine zelf.
3.INFORMATIE OVER VEILIGHEID
3.1. GRONDAANBEVELINGEN
Het boekje “Gebruiksaanwijzingen” aandachtig
lezen, voor het opstarten, het gebruik, het gewone
onderhoud of voor alle andere soorten technische
interventie’s op de machine.
Alle normen van dit boekje (en die van batterijen
en laders) nauwkeurig volgen (vooral de
voorschriften betreffende waarschuwing en gevaar).
De fabrikant is niet verantwoordelijk voor schade
aan mensen of voorwerpen die veroorzaakt werden
door het niet volgen van de voorschriften.
