To reposition the seat mount, remove the
nuts and withdraw the bolts, reposition the
seat mount and replace the bolts and
nuts.
10. Fit the seat to the seat mount. Counting
from the front the pairs of holes in the seat
mount and the seat support, align them as
follows:
Your height is over 5’9” seat holes 2 and
4 match mount holes 2 and 4
Your height is under 5’9” seat holes 2 and
4 match mount holes 1 and 3
The nuts bolts and washers are bagged in
the parts box. Tighten the four bolts using
a 4mm Allen key and a 10 mm spanner.
11. Take the red reflector from the parts box
and the clamp as shown in the picture
below, slide over the seat post and adjust
as shown with a Phillips (+ head)
screwdriver. Align the seat-binding clamp
behind the seat back with the seat post
and assemble as pictured. Tighten the
14mm seat binding bolt and the seat post
quick release.
12. Turn the bike upside down, resting on the
handlebar ends and the seat back.
13. Remove the front fork spreader bar, cut
the cable tie off the deraileur and pass the
deraileur between the chainstay as
pictured:
14. Take the chain off the chain ring to allow
the deraileur to rotate in to position as
pictured and fit the deraileur hanger to the
fork using a 5mm Allen key:
15. The bolt to secure the rear deraileur is
fitted to the hole adjacent to the RHS fork
dropout – remove for use in attaching the
deraileur .
