Folder Settings 

You may view and adjust the behavior of each folder by selecting 

Folder Settings

 menu from the 

Setup

 page.  This action 

takes you into the 

Folder List

 page.  This page displays a list of the folders loaded into your pager, plus a 

Global

 folder 

which may be used to control behavior of one or more other folders.

Common Settings 

Selecting  one  of  the  folders  from  the  folder  list  will  bring  you  to  the  common  settings  page  for  that  folder.    This  page 
contains 3 settings (or 2 for the global folder) plus sub-pages for folder normal and priority alert settings.

Settings 

The 

Settings

  parameter  determine 

whether  the  folder  uses  the  Global  folder  settings,  or  whether  it  uses  it’s  own 

individual  settings.      When  set  to 

Local

,  you  can  set up  the  folder-specific  parameter  settings.  When  set  to 

Global

,  the 

folder takes its behavior from the 

Global

 folder settings.  Note that with the 

Global

 folder, this menu item is not available.

Quiet Time 

The folder 

Quiet Time

 parameter determines whether the folder obeys the pager-wide 

Quiet Time

 setting (5.8.2.1).  When 

set to 

Follow

, the folder will not alert or issue reminder actions when the pager is in quiet time.  When set to 

Ignore

, the 

folder will issue new message alerts and reminders regardless of the pager-wide 

Quiet Time

 setting.
