Indicates the trim being applied to each band of
the MIC B-2 equalizer.
Slot 4: Mixer 1
The MD7x2 provides two QM inputs. Each QM input contains two channels of
stereo program audio and two remote microphone channels (MIC 1 and MIC 2). The
MD7x2 also has two local microphone inputs and five line-level stereo audio inputs
labeled
AUD IN 1
through
AUD IN 5
.
The MD7x2 can mix either of the two remote microphone pairs with the two local
microphones. The same mic mix can be routed to the mixer section of either of the
two line-level audio outputs, labeled
AUDIO OUT 1
and
AUDIO OUT 2.

The mic mix that will be routed to
QM OUT 1
and
AUDIO OUT 1
is
called Mic Mix 1.
•
The mic mix that will be routed to
QM OUT 2
and
AUDIO OUT 2
is
called Mic Mix 2 (see the Mixer 2 module on slot 05).

The two remote microphone channels in Mic Mix 1 are called MIC A-1 and
MIC A-2.
•
The two remote microphone channels in Mic Mix 2 are called MIC B-1 and
MIC B-2 (refer to the Mixer 2 module on slot 05).
The line-level output labeled
AUDIO OUT 1
provides a mixing section. The
selected program audio from one of the stereo program sources and the “Mic Mix 1”
mix described previously are input to this mixer. The mixer mixes the program and
the microphone into the three
AUDIO OUT 1
channels:
PRG L
,
PRG R
, and
SP
.
The microphone mix can be mixed into the stereo program and the stereo program
can be mixed into the speech.
While using the SIMPL Windows programming manager, double-click on
Slot 4
of
the QM-MD7x2 to view the details of the Mixer 1 symbol as shown in the following
diagram.
