QM-MD7x2
QuickMedia™ Matrix Switcher/Mixer
MIC
The MD7x2 contains two local microphone inputs for receiving low (mic) level and
line-level signals. Each input uses a 5-position mini-terminal block connector that
can receive balanced and unbalanced mic signals. Each input has software-switchable
phantom power for mic-level signals. The following table lists the pin assignments
(from left to right) for the 5-position mini-terminal block connector. For additional
information, refer to “Hardware Hookup” on page 21.
NOTE:
Mic-level and line-level microphones cannot be simultaneously connected
to the same input.

AUDIO OUT
Two sets of line-level audio outputs follow the output of the respective QM output
ports. Each output consists of a 3-position mini-terminal block connector for speech
output and a 5-position mini-terminal block connector for stereo program audio
output. These outputs provide balanced or unbalanced line-level output for use by an
audio amplifier.
The following tables list the pin assignments (from left to right) for the 3-position
and 5-position mini-terminal block connectors. For additional information, refer to
“Hardware Hookup” on page 21.

The MD7x2 contains two QM ports for connecting QM receivers or any other device
with a QM input. Each QM port has an RJ-45 connector for QM signals and a
corresponding 4-position mini-terminal block connector for Cresnet control signals.
For wiring information, refer to “QuickMedia Wiring” on page 15 and “Network
Wiring” on page 14.
The QM pin assignments for the QM OUT ports are the same as the QM IN ports
described previously.
