QM-MD7x2
QuickMedia™ Matrix Switcher/Mixer
Slot 3: Remote Microphone EQ Controls
The MD7x2 provides two QM inputs, labeled IN 6 and IN 7. Each QM input
contains two remote microphone channels called MIC 1 and MIC 2.
The MD7x2 can mix either of the two remote microphone pairs with the two local
microphones and switch the resulting mic mix to the MIC 1 channel of either of the
QM outputs, labeled OUT 1 and OUT 2. The same mic mix can be routed to the
mixer section of either of the two line-level audio outputs, labeled AUDIO OUT 1
and AUDIO OUT 2.
•
The mic mix that will be routed to QM OUT 1 and AUDIO OUT 1 is called
Mic Mix 1.
•
The mic mix that will be routed to QM OUT 2 and AUDIO OUT 2 is called
Mic Mix 2.
•
The two remote microphone channels in Mic Mix 1 are called MIC A-1 and
MIC A-2.
•
The two remote microphone channels in Mic Mix 2 are called MIC B-1 and
MIC B-2.
The MD7x2 provides four bands of equalization (160Hz, 500Hz, 1.2kHz, and 3kHz)
for each remote microphone.
The MD7x2 provides up to 16 EQ trim presets, where a trim preset is a set of all
eight EQ trims. This way, the system can save and recall presets for each
microphone in a QM origination point.
