5-8 Jumper Settings
To enable or disable the keyboard & PS/2 mouse
Power-On function
The M004 motherboard has a power-on by keyboard and PS/2 mouse
feature. You can switch on the system with any keystroke (or with an
assigned hot-key) or by double-clicking the PS/2 mouse.
Power-on by serial mouse is not supported.
J44 and JP38 are jumpers used to enable or disable the keyboard and
PS/2 mouse power-on function.
When you enable the keyboard & PS/2 Mouse power-on function, you
also have to make the appropriate adjustments to the POWER ON
Function item in the Integrated Peripherals screen of the CMOS Setup
utility. For details, see Table 6-9, “The Integrated Peripherals Screen
items.,” on page 6-21.
