Jumper Settings

About Jumpers
Several hardware settings are made through the use of jumper caps to
connect jumper pins on the motherboard. Pin 1 of each jumper on the
motherboard is either on the top or the left of the jumper when holding
the motherboard with the keyboard connector away from yourself.
Table 5-1 below shows the jumper conventions used in this manual:
To close a jumper
Place a jumper cap over the two jumper pins.
To open a jumper
Remove the jumper cap from the two jumper pins.
Instead of removing the jumper cap completely, you can place
the cap over one pin so that the cap will not be lost.
