h) Do not restart the cutting operation in
the workpiece. Let the wheel reach full speed
and carefully re-enter the cut.
The wheel may
bind, walk up or kickback if the power tool is
restarted in the workpiece.
i) Support panels or any oversized
workpiece to minimize the risk of wheel
pinching and kickback.
Large workpieces tend to
sag under their own weight. Supports must be
placed under the workpiece near the line of cut and
near the edge of the workpiece on both sides of
the wheel.
j) Use extra caution when making a “pocket
cut” into existing walls or other blind areas
.
The protruding wheel may cut gas or water
pipes, electrical wiring or objects that can cause
kickback.
18. Before using a segmented diamond wheel,
make sure that the diamond wheel has the
peripheral gap between segments of 10 mm
or less, only with a negative rake angle.
Additional Safety Warnings:
19. Never attempt to cut with the tool held
upside down in a vise. This can lead to
serious accidents, because it is extremely
dangerous.
20. Some material contains chemicals which
may be toxic. Take caution to prevent dust
inhalation
and skin contact. Follow material supplier safety
data.
21. Store wheels as per manufacturer
recommendations. Improper storage may
damage the wheels.
Handling abrasives with great care, these are
fragile products. Examine all products before
use for any damage or defects.
Always wear suitable gloves and clothing to
work by holding the workpiece or machine by
hand. Gloves with EN 388 Category 2 minimum
protection are recommended.
Handling :
- Handle all grinding wheels carefully.
- Place the wheels carefully
DO NOT escape, knock or roll.
DO NOT place tools or any parts on the grinding
wheels.
DO NOT bale or throw grinding wheels by
placing them on a tool rack, shelf or easel, or in
chests, boxes or drawers.
Storage
The grinding wheels should always be stored in
a dry, low temperature room so that there is no
mechanical damage and the products are not
exposed to moisture, frost, sudden temperature
deviations or To aggressive materials.
DO NOT use a wheel that has been damaged.
DO NOT expose the grinding wheels to water or
other solvents.
DO NOT expose wheels to high humidity or
freezing temperatures.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS.
WARNING:
DO NOT let comfort or
familiarity with product
(gained from repeated use)
replace strict adherence
to safety rules for the subject
product. MISUSE or
failure to follow the safety
rules stated in this
instruction manual may
cause serious personal
injury.
ADDITIONAL SAFETY WARNINGS
Wear safety goggles.
Use suitable detectors to determine if utility
lines are hidden in the work area or call
the local utility company for assistance.
Contact with electric lines can lead to fire and
electric shock. Damaging a gas line can lead to
explosion. Penetrating a water line causes property
damage or may cause an electric shock.
When working stone, use dust extraction.
The vacuum cleaner must be approved for
the extraction of stone dust.
Using this
equipment reduces dust-related hazards.
When working with the machine, always
hold it firmly with both hands and provide
for a secure stance.
The power tool is guided
more secure with both hands.
Secure the workpiece.
A workpiece clamped
with clamping devices or in a vice is held more
secure than by hand.
Never use the machine with a damaged cable.
Do not touch the damaged cable and pull the
mains plug when the cable is damaged while
working.
Damaged cables increase the risk of an
electric shock.
APPLICATION
The machine is designed for dry chase cutting in
brickwork and road surfaces. The machine is
suitable for installing electric lines and water pipes
in walls or floors and can also be used for
cutting slabs. Strips in slabs can also be cut using
the machine. Before using the wall chaser,
familiarize yourself with all the operating features
and safety requirements.
