e) Altitude Alarm
You can set an altitude at which a signal tone is sounded.
Switching altitude alarm on/off
If the altitude is displayed at the bottom of the display, press the "MENU" button.
Use the "
" and/or "
" buttons to select the middle menu item (ALT. ALARM") and press
"ENTER" to confirm. The display shows "ALTITUDE ALARM" and the corresponding setting
"ON" or "OFF" flashes.
Use the "
" and/or "
" buttons to turn the function on or off. Confirm the setting by pressing
the "ENTER" button.
Use the "
" and/or "
" buttons to select the input field and use the "
" and/or "
" buttons
to set the value (or the preceding "+" or "-" to the left of the number).
Confirm the setting by pressing the "ENTER" button.
When the altitude alarm is switched on, a signal tone is emitted when the measured altitude
exceeds the value set for the alarm (e.g. altitude alarm set to 400m, the signal tone is emitted
when you reach or exceed 400m altitude).
