22. Barometer/Thermometer
a) Activation of the Barometer/Thermometer
Press the "BARO" button, the display then shows the measurement value for the barometer
and the thermometer.
The barometer display is "LOW" if the pressure is below 300 hPa or "HIGH" if
the barometric pressure exceeds 1100 hPa.
The thermometer display is "LOW" if the temperature is below -10°C or "HIGH"
if the temperature e60°C.
b) Selecting Barometric Pressure and Temperature Units
Select the barometric pressure unit with the "
" and/or "
" buttons (hPa, mb, inHg, atm).
Use the "
" or "
" buttons to adjust the temperature units (°C,°F).
c) Setting Barometric Pressure at Sea Level
The average barometric pressure at sea level is preset to 1013.25 hPa. If you know a more
exact current value for your area, you can adjust the value (depending on changes to the
weather, the value is automatically calculated by the digital compass from then on).
If the barometric pressure value is displayed at the bottom of the display, press the "MENU"
button.
Use the "
" and/or "
" buttons to select the corresponding function to set the barometric
pressure at sea level and confirm with the "ENTER" button. The presetting for the barometric
pressure at sea level is displayed.
Press and hold the "ENTER" button for approx. 3 seconds until the value starts to flash.
Use the "
" and/or "
" buttons to change the displayed value in small increments (hold
down the corresponding button for an extended period of time to adjust the value faster).
The "
" and/or "
" buttons are used to change the value in large increments.
Confirm your setting by pressing the "ENTER" button.
