15. Maintenance and Care
Clean the exterior of the model and the remote control only with a soft, dry cloth or brush. Never use abrasive cleaning
agents or chemical solutions as these could damage the surfaces of the casings.
All moving parts have to be easily movable but there should not be a clearance in the bearing. The motor shafts with
the rotor shaft must be aligned perfectly straight and must not be eccentric.
a) Replacing the Rotor Blades
If contact with an obstacle leaves visible danger on a rotor blade
(cracks or broken parts), the rotor blade must be replaced.
When replacing the rotor blades (1), observe the rotating dura-
tion and do not tighten the attachment screws (2) too firmly.
The rotor blades must be able to align downwards on their own
when the helicopter is tilted to the side.
b) Replacing the Tail Rotor Propeller
The propeller of the tail rotor (1) is pushed onto the motor shaft
(2) and can be easily removed from the shaft.
Pull off the defective propeller with the fingers and ensure that
the motor shaft is not bent when pulling it off and pushing it on.
