14. Programming the Remote Control
The remote control is optimally present for the helicopter "HFP80" in the factory. Nevertheless, you can individually
adjust the control behaviour of your model helicopter to your control habits, e.g. with the "Dual Rate" function.
The remote control is programmed with three buttons that have the following functions:
Figure 23
Push-button "UP" (6)
With this button, you can move up or forward within the menu structure.
Push-button "DOWN" (7)
With this button, you can move down or back within the menu structure.
Push-button "SELECT"(8)
This button calls the chosen menu item, confirms or saves the settings.
To get into the programming menu, push the push-buttons "UP" and "DOWN" at the same time. The display lighting
is activated once the programming menu is called.
To leave the programming menu again, push the push-buttons "UP" and "DOWN" again together.
If you do not push any buttons for approx. 25 seconds when the programming menu is called, the remote control
automatically terminates the programming menu. The display lighting is switched off again afterwards.
The programming menu has four different setting functions:
1 Servo direction setting "REV"
2 "Dual Rate" function "D/R"
3 Servo end deflection setting "EPA"
4 Timer setting "TIME:"
