6.
Move inlet and outlet tube fitting elbows from the ‘faulty’ regulator to the replacement regulator – Note: align the tube
fittings in the same direction as they were on the ‘faulty’ regulator.
7.
Install replacement regulator and tighten the inlet and outlet tube fittings.
8.
On fully automatic systems, open the inlet and outlet isolation valves.
9.
The replacement regulator was shipped preset to the approximate required delivery pressure; however, every application
varies. Therefore, the delivery pressure will have to be adjusted slightly when replacing the delivery regulators.
10.
Switch the toggle switch back to ‘In Service.' When this is completed, the Medical IntelliSwitch® will go into calibrate
mode.
15.
Locate the Allen wrench attached to the inside panel.
16.
There is a green light to the left or right of the delivery display that indicates which delivery regulator is in use. If the
left light is ON, the pressure being displayed in the delivery display is the output pressure of the left regulator. Similarly,
if the right green light is ON the pressure being displayed is from the right regulator.
17.
Locate the Allen wrench attached to the inside panel. Starting with the delivery regulator that is currently in use, place
the Allen wrench into the set screw and adjust the pressure to the desired value. Turning the set screw clockwise
increases pressure. Counterclockwise decreases pressure. The system will not decrease in pressure if there is no flow.
See Figure 5 for the location of the regulators.
