If the Root Certificate or an Intermediate Certificate Authority (CA)
certificate that is in the certificate path does not reside in their respective
local computer Certification Authorities certificate store a warning will be
displayed within the
Certificate Chain
window.
NOTE
: For the Gateway certificate and any potential SMIME
message originator’s certificate, the issuing Root Certificate must be
manually placed in the local computer Trusted Root Certification
Authorities certificate store and all Intermediate Certificate Authority
(CA) certificates must be manually placed in the local computer
Intermediate Certification Authorities certificate store.
Under the
SMIME Security Gateway Certificate
window:
Select the
OK
button to save the modified Gateway Certificate
parameters and return to the
CP-145(F)
Configuration Utility main
window. The changes are not permanently saved to the appropriate
configuration database table or file until
Install
is selected from the
File Menu.
Select the
Cancel
button to exit this window without saving changes.

Security Tables tab:
When the
Security Tables
tab is selected in the
SMIME Security
window
the
SMIME Security Security Tables
window is displayed:
This window is used to configure the Security Table files needed for Security
Label translation. Only one set of Security Tables are used by the CP-145(F),
a Security Policy Selection Table (SPST) and either one or two Security
Policy Translation Tables (SPTT).
