Line fault monitoring for a channel
For a channel of the Gx-IAX card allocated to a central control desk (for which a call request to a central
control desk is configured), “line fault monitoring” can be configured (in the same way as for a Inter-
com station subscriber). This means, a failure in the connection between VoIP server and Intercom
Server (e.g. line break or network error) will be indicated at the respective central control desk.
Initiate dialling of

at incoming calls
For an incoming call to the Intercom system across a particular IAX channel, it is possible to configure
that the button
0
(at the respective called Intercom station) is dialled automatically. This feature can
be used e.g. in combination with the following Intercom functions:
Call request to a central control desk (the call lasts until it is taken over).
Triggering of the direct dialling function (e.g. call to a Intercom station or initiation of a pre-defined
conference).

Reservation incoming extension
An IAX channel can be reserved for incoming calls from a certain SIP phone exclusively (1:1 allocation).
Therefore, it is possible to use certain Intercom functions for this SIP phone only (e.g. speech recording
or video). When a channel is reserved with the call number of a SIP phone, it is no longer possible to
use this channel from another SIP phone (with a deviating call number).

In the field
Reservation incoming extension
, enter a call number, which shall be reserved for this
IAX channel. Now, if an incoming call from this call number is detected at the Intercom Server, this
IAX channel will be used for the connection.
