Speech control
A conversation between a VoIP phone and an Intercom station can be held in the modes duplex, full
duplex (standard) or simplex.
Operation Simplex at the VoIP phone
Pressing the button “*” toggles talk/listen modes: press “*” to talk, press “*” a 2nd time to listen.
If the button “*” on the VoIP phone is not pressed a 2nd time, the Intercom station will be switched
through after a configurable time.
Caller ID
A caller ID can be made up of two different parts:
(e.g. call number “101”)
(e.g. additional descriptive text “Office 101”)
Numeric caller ID
Numeric caller IDs (call numbers) are indicated on the display of the respective remote station.

ATTENTION: Analogue subscribers
When using full duplex for conversations with analogue subscribers, echo may occur depending on
the respective volume level and constructional circumstances (e.g. distance between microphone and
loudspeaker or construction of housing). For analogue subscribers, it is recommended to configure
“duplex” (at
Subscriber > Audio - Features
).
