4.4 Surge Generator Output Ports
Type A and Type B surges are applied at its (A/B/G)
output ports. Powerline surges can be applied either
to its internal power line coupling/decoupling
network (CDN) output port, or to a supported
external power line CDN via its (A/B) output ports.
The (A/B/G) output ports are fitted with 4 mm safety
sockets.
The internal power line CDN output port is fitted with
a Universal Multi-Configuration AC Socket.
CAUTION:
Due to the presence of
DANGEROUS VOLTAGES
, the user
should avoid all contact with these output port, as well as any
cabling which connects to these ports while the SGTEL-168 is in
operation. All connections should be made before applying power to
the generator.
WARNING:
Uninsulated,
DANGEROUS VOLTAGES
may be present on
any and all surge output terminals. These voltages may be of
sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock to persons.
WARNING
NEVER CONNECT THE SURGE OUTPUT TERMINALS TO A POWER
SOURCE DIRECTLY, AS THIS MAY RESULT IN INTERNAL DAMAGE TO
YOUR SGTEL-168 SURGE GENERATOR. THESE ARE OUTPUT PORTS
ONLY.
