6.3.4 Remove the old batteries and replace with the new batteries using care to
observe the correct polarity.
6.3.5 Re-install the cover (using hardware previously removed). Avoid over
tightening the screw. Place the unit on the charger until it indicates that
the battery is fully charged.
7.0 Troubleshooting
Problem Cause Solution
LED Does not turn
on.
1. Battery completely drained
2. Handpiece not used for an
extended period of time.
If the battery is not completely
drained, it must be recharged. If it
is completely drained it must be
replaced.
Battery not properly
charging
1. Battery completely drained
2. Battery temp too low.
3. Battery temp too high.
4. Battery voltage is too high.
5. Improper contact with
charging base.
6. Error code is displayed
1. Replace the battery
2. Place the charger in an area
with proper temperature
control above 0° C (32° F).
3. If the battery temperature is
too high and the battery will
not charge, contact customer
service.
4. Ensure the correct batteries are
being used.
5. Ensure that the handpiece
is properly mounted to the
charging base.
6. Check the error message.
Charging base is not
working
1. Power cord not plugged in.
2. Power is switched Off.
