It will then begin to run in forward mode.
• Auto Stop Reverse Stop – In this mode if the handpiece is overloaded, it
will begin to run in reverse. Once the overload is relieved the handpiece shuts
off.
• No Indication – Auto Stop – In this mode when the handpiece is overloaded
it turns off.
WARNING!
If the battery charge is too low, the actual load may not reach the select-
ed torque value, in which case the Auto Reverse function will not work.
If the battery is overheated due to use an error message will be dis-
played. It is necessary to allow the handpiece to cool at this point.
4.4
Program Memory Function
4.4.1
The unit has four memory functions which will store the user’s own
speed, torque, gear ratio and operational mode. These modes can be toggled
through by pressing the Program button.
4.5
Attaching and Removing the Contra Angle
4.5.1 The Contra Angle simply snaps on or off to the top of the handpiece. A 16:1
gear ratio contra angle is supplied with the CanalPro
TM
CL2 and additional
contra angles can be ordered. The CanalPro
TM
CL2 will also operate with
Contra Angles of other gear ratios. Contact your local sales operation for
more details.
WARNING!
DO NOT use any contra angle attachment from other
manufacturers with this unit. Failure to comply may
result in equipment damage.
Ensure the handpiece power is off before removing or
replacing the Contra Angle. Ensure the Contra Angle
is securely installed prior to use. Failure to comply
may result in equipment damage.
