The serial output
cannot be read.
The option for serial output may not
be selected.
The serial port settings may not be
compatible.
Select the serial output option using
the
Communications
wizard.
Refer to the
Communications
paragraph in
to find the default
settings. Alternatively view the serial
port settings via the System menu.
The images appear
blurred.
The production line is too fast for the
current exposure setting.
Set a shorter exposure time in the
AcquireImage property sheet. You
may need to increase your lighting
intensity level to offset the darkening
effect of a shorter exposure time.
The images vary in
focus.
The depth of focus may be insufficient
for the amount of variation in the
height of the product.
The aperture needs to be smaller
(higher F-stop value). This will reduce
the image intensity, so either brighter
lights, a higher gain setting, or longer
exposure time will be needed.
NOTE
: Increasing the exposure time
may result in blurred images for fast
production lines.
