Chapter 3: Image Filtering
Image filtering is used to improve the image of poor quality codes. Examples of how images
can be improved using filtering are shown in Figure 3-1. If the software is unable to read a
code, follow the instructions in Table 3-1 for 2D codes and Table 3-2 for barcodes.
