2. Fine Diet Waffles
Ingredients:
250 g spelt flour
finely ground
1 TPSB baking pouder
200 ml milk
mineral water
sea salt
125 g melted butter
3 eggs
50 g grated cheese
2 TBSP sunflower seeds
2 bunches chives
It may be necessary to grease the waffle maker.
Preparation:
Combine spelt flour with baking
powder. Mix with milk, salt, melted butter, and
eggs. Let stand for approx. 20 minutes. Add
cheese, sunflower seeds and chives. If the batter
is too thick, dilute with mineral water.
3. Pizza Waffles
Ingredients:
125 g butter or margarine
4 eggs
125 g flour
½ tsp baking powder
125 ml lukewarm water
approx. 100 g cooked ham
cut in strips
2 apples finely diced
1 packet walnuts or hazelnuts
finely ground
2-3 TBSP tomato paste
1-2 tsp mustard
salt
pepper
pizza spices
Preparation:
Beat butter until creamy and add
eggs one at a time. Alternately mix in the flour
mixture and the lukewarm water. Add ham,
apples, nuts and spices (tomato paste, salt, pep-
per, mustard, pizza spices). Bake batter immedi-
ately. Variations: mushrooms, cheese, olives or
cucumbers.
