GATHERING DOOR INSTALLATION: ASSEMBLE AND
ATTACH PULLEY ASSEMBLIES
Required parts:
• 108436 pulley brackets (2) and AS5042 pulleys (3)
• FAG361B (3/8" x 2 1/2") bolts, FALF19B (3/8")
locknut, and FAME52B (3/8") flat washers (for
spacers)
• FAG365B (3/8" x 3 1/2") zinc bolt and FALF19B (3/8")
zinc locknut
Complete these steps:
1. Locate the three (3) pulleys and remove the bracket
and bolt. (Brackets and hardware are not used.)
2. Take one 108436 door pulley bracket and attach one
(1) pulley to it using one FAG365 (3/8" x 3 1/2") zinc
bolt and FALF19B (3/8") zinc locknut as shown.
NOTE:
Attach bolt to bracket as shown (lower left). Pulley should turn freely on the mounting bolt.
3. Take the remaining pulleys and mounting bracket and assemble using the bolt and locknut. See diagram
above and below (right).
4. On the winch side of the door frame, move to the top of the installed Z-door rail and attach the pulley
assembly that has the two (2) pulleys installed. Use the bracket to mark the hole location and then drill
two (2) 3/8" holes in the Z-door rail. Refer to the diagrams for mounting details. Secure the assembly to
the Z-door rail using the FAG361B (3/8" x 2 1/2") bolts and FALF19B (3/8") locknuts. Use the FAME52
(3/8") flat washers for spacers (as shown) to prevent the bracket from contacting the installed flat plate.
5. Repeat the steps to attach the remaining pulley assembly to the top of the other Z-door rail as shown.
6. Continue by threading the cable and securing it to the winch.
