ASSEMBLE THE AWNING
Consult the Awning Detail diagram in the Quick
Start section of these instructions for an overview.
1. Beginning at one end of the frame opposite
the roll-up side, attach a 108418 connection
plate to the corner support post using five (5)
FAJ331B 3/8" x 4" lag bolts.
2. Attach a 166BM048 horizontal pipe to the
connection plate using a 3/8" x 2 1/2" cap
screw (FAG361B) and 3/8" nut (FALB04B).
Do not tighten the nut.
3. Attach a 106967 2-way coupler to the
horizontal pipe using a 3/8" x 2 1/2" cap
screw (FAG361B) and 3/8" nut (FALB04B).
Tighten the nut only enough to hold the
coupler in position.
4. Attach the upper end of the 108432 awning
rafter to the rafter using a 3/8" x 4-1/2"
bolt (FAG368B), FAME52B washer, and
FALB04B nut.
Do not tighten
.
5. Swing the horizontal pipe up into position and
slide the open pipe end of the 108432 awning
bracket over the 2-way coupler.

6. Adjust the awning rafter as needed. Maintain about
1" between the end of the angled awning pipe and
the drilled tabs welded to the coupler.
7. Secure the angled awning rafter pipe to coupler
using three FA4484B Tek screw installed through the
side of the angled pipe into the coupler.
8. Adjust the assembled awning support so that the
horizontal tube is level and the assembly is square
with the rafter. Tighten the horizontal pipe bolts.
9. Move to the top of the angled awning support and
tighten the 3/8" x 4-1/2" bolt. Using the bracket hole
as a template, drill a 3/8" hole through the rafter and
install and tighten another 3/8" x 4-1/2" bolt.

rafter and secure the awning
rafter to the main rafter of
the assembled frame. Use a
3/8" x 4-1/2" bolt (FAG368B),
FAME52B washer, and
