Error Message and Corrective Actions
When an error occurs, the error condition will be displayed on the operation panel. The LED
flashes in red and the LCD shows the error contents.
In case of an error, the printer enters off line except for the following errors.
• LCD: Alarm Head Hot
• LCD: Alarm Cutter Hot
• LCD: Alarm Head Check

Head temperature - high temperature abnormality
• Printing stops temporarily.
Wait until the “SA Head” gets cool.
Flashing in red
Alarm
Head Hot
Head temperature - low temperature abnormality
• Printing is impossible.
Start printing after the “SA Head” becomes warm.

Head Cold
PF motor temperature abnormality
• Printing is impossible.
Wait until the “SA PF Motor” gets cool.

PFMotor Hot
Ribbon motor temperature abnormality
• Printing is impossible.
Wait until the “SA Ribbon Motor F” gets cool.

Cutter motor temperature abnormality (Option)
• Cutting action stops temporarily.
Wait until the cutter motor gets cool.

• Close the head.

Paper out (paper position undetectable) - defective
paper loading
• Incorrect positioning of the sensors:
Adjust the sensor position correctly to label media and
the black mark of tag media.
• Incorrect setting of “Media Sensor” submenu:
Match the setting (See Through, Reflect, None) with
media to be used.
• Incorrect sensor adjustment against media to be
used:
Enter sensor adjustment mode by turning ON while
pressing and holding
[MENU]
