Logging In to the NAS
You can log in to the NAS from your web browser.
NOTE
You must know the IP address of your NAS log in. If your NAS is equipped with an
LCD display, you can find it there. Otherwise, you can determine the IP address from
the device that issued the IP address to the NAS.
To log in to your NAS:
STEP 1
Start a web browser. In the Address bar, enter the IP address of the device on port
8080: for example, http://192.168.0.100:8080.
STEP 2
When the login window opens, enter the administrator account username and
password.
The default username is
admin
. The default password is
admin
.
Username and password are case sensitive.
STEP 3
If necessary, choose your language from the Language menu.
STEP 4
Click
SSL Login
to login using SSL.
STEP 5
Click
Login
.
NOTE
If you are logging in to the NAS for the first time, you will be prompted to change the
admin password.
Using the Help
Online, content-sensitive help is built-in to the NAS interface and is always
available to help you understand the rich features of the NAS.
