connector
cover
and
place
the card
in
an
antistatic
bag
If
moving
the
LINF
card
from one
slot to
another
slot
and
if
the desired
slot
location
has
an
installed
card remove
the
installed
card

Ensure
that
the
jumper
switch
on
the
LINF
card
is
set
with
the default
setting
If
it
needs
to
be
reset
return
the switch
to
the
initial
setting
indicated
in Figure
2-11

The
0C3 LINF
card
does
not
have
jumper switch

the
new LINF
card
or
insert
the
LINF
card
removed
from
another
slot
into the
just
opened
slot
Ensure
that
the
LINF
card
is
securely
fixed
to
the
LINF
stopper
at
the rear of
the
HyperSwitch

main

Match
the screw
holes
on
the
LINF
card
with
the
screw
holes
on
the
HyperSwitch

Insert
the screws
and
fasten
them
using
the
flat-blade
screwdriver

new LINF
card
differs

change
the front
panel
as follows
Remove
the
front panel
without
the
window
from
the
slot
where
the
LINF
card
is
installed
Install
front
panel
with
the
window
from
the reverse
side
of the cover
and
fasten
it
Ensure
that
the front panel
is
right side
up

the cover
on
the base
approximately
25
millimeters or
inch
from
the
front
Then
slide
the cover
back
until
the
screw
holes
align
Reinsert
and
fasten the screws
on
the rear
and
bottom
of the
HyperSwitch

the card
ejectors
on
the
PROC
card
and
insert
the
card
into the
HyperSwitch

front
panel
Reinsert
and
fasten
the
six
outer
screws

the
optical
cables
removed
earlier

new

card
differs
from
the
removed
card
connect
the correct
cable

optical
cable

replaced
connect
the other
end
to
router
terminal
etc

EIAITIA-232
cable
to
the
EIAITIA-232
connector

left
side
of
