A description of the terminology used in the above chart is as follows: 
 

HP:

 

Horsepower of the Unit. 

 

Load Pressure:

     The pressure at which the Unit will begin to compress air. 

 

Offload Pressure:

     The pressure at which the Unit will stop compressing air. 

 

High Pressure Alarm:

     The pressure (above the Offload Pressure) at which an alarm will be noted. 

 

High Pressure Shutdown:

     The pressure (above the Offload Pressure) at which an alarm will be noted and the 

Unit will shut off. 

 

Idle Shutdown:

      The amount of time the Unit will idle (run but not compress air) after it has reached the Unload 

Pressure before shutting off. 

 
 

Routine Service Hours:

     The maximum allowable time between regular maintenance/service of the Unit. 

 

Grease Service Hours:
