Verifying Installation

Note:

The following procedures assume that you started the Windows

operating system and the Program Manager window is showing.

To test the communications interface, complete the following steps:

Start the host computer and go to the main Windows screen.

Turn on power to the autosampler.

Click the start button in the lower left corner of the Program
Manager window.

A selection list will appear.

Select
Programs/Accessories/Communications/Hyperterminal

and

double-click.

The Hyperterminal

®1

window appears (Figure 4–1).
