is off line. The generator may be reset by cycling the generator
switch to the off position and back on. If the annunciator
extinguishes, normal generator charging has resumed; however,
if the annunciator illuminates again, a malfunction has occurred
and the flight should be terminated as soon as practical.
CIRCUIT BREAKERS AND FUSES
There are five additional standard circuit breakers added during
the turbine conversion (auto feather and annunciator lights,
overspeed warning, generator field, generator reset and engine
start) and two optional breakers (continuous ignition and cowl
landing lights) that can be pulled off to disable the applicable
circuit(s). These additional circuit breakers are mounted on the
lower left side on the pilot's electrical subpanel.
There are fuses mounted in the electrical component housing for
the APU circuit, clock, hourmeter and ammeter shunt circuit on
the left side of the firewall.
GROUND SERVICE PLUG RECEPTACLES
A ground service receptacle is located on the left hand side of the
aircraft just forward on the firewall and allows the use of an
external power source for cold weather starting, and during
lengthy maintenance work on electrical and avionics equipment.
Access to the receptacle is gained by the opening of a spring-
loaded access door. Turning the battery switch to the off position
will electrically disconnect the ground plug.
NOTE
Use of the service plug receptacle for starting an
airplane with "dead" battery or charging a "dead"
battery in the airplane is not recommended. The
battery should be removed from the airplane and
serviced in accordance with the Maintenance Manual
procedures. Failure to observe this precaution could
result in loss of electrical power during flight.
NOTE
If no avionics equipment is to be used or worked on, the
avionics master switch should be turned off. If
maintenance is required on the avionics equipment, it is
advisable to utilize a regulated external power source to
prevent damage to the avionics equipment by transient
voltage. Do not energize the starter with the avionics
master switch turned on.
