5.2 STOP
•
To stop the work for a moment, press stop (O) without taking the machine out of the container (Figure 10). To restart,
press safety (I) and next the command button. The machine will start up in the same conditions as the ones described
in the starting up (Figure 8).
•
To end the work definitively, press stop (O), dismount the attachment from the motor unit and unplug the machine.
ATTENTION: If during the operation, an overload in the power supply or a motor overheating stops the
machine, there is no risk of accidental switching on the machine once the power supply is restored. A safety
system protects the operator against any injury by forcing him to restart the machine up right from the start
(See Point 5.1).
5.3 SPEED VARIATOR
The machine has a speed variator to select 7 different positions, shown in the wheel, (1 for the lowest
speed and 7 for the highest).
Select the desired speed depending on the preparation and your professional experience.
ATTENTION: A microprocessor that controls this operation has been programmed, so that the starting up is
always smooth and the speeding up is made progressive and automatically
The operator can eventually change the speed by turning the variator at any time; there is no need to stop
the operation.
5.4 USE OF THE HAND BLENDER ATTACHMENT
•
Verify that the screw fixing the blade in the shaft is well tightened. On the contrary, tighten it.
•
Mount the machine inserting the attachment into the motor unit (See Point 5.1).
•
Select the maximum speed by turning the speed variator towards the position 7. The operator could eventually
choose a lower speed (See Point 6.3).
•
Follow the instructions for the starting up given in the Point 6.1.
Practical hints for the use of the Hand Blender attachment:
•
Always use a stable container, at a suitable height and with a convenient capacity according to the volume
you need to mix.
•
Only immerse the blender attachment tool to 2/3 of its length at most to avoid water or any other liquids enter the
air grills.
•
The quantity of food to be prepared will have to cover at least the blade guard.
•
Avoid the blade guard to be in contact with the bottom of the container.
•
Remove cooking container from the heat when mixing hot ingredients.
5.5.- USE OF THE WHISK ATTACHMENT
•
Engage the whisk attachment into the motor unit (See Point 5.1).
•
Select the speed by turning the speed variator towards the desired position.
•
Follow the instructions for the starting up given in the point 6.1.
Practical hints for the use of the Whisk attachment:
•
Hold the machine with one hand for light preparations and with both hands for heavy work.
•
To obtain optimum results when making mixtures, all ingredients should have the same temperature. Whipped
cream has more volume, if the cream is well chilled before being whipped. Mashed potatoes will become
creamier, if all ingredients are being used as hot as possible.
WARNING!
•
Never operate the machine when empty or not in a container.
•
When preparing fruit-based mixtures, cut the fruit beforehand and remove seeds/stones.
•
Do not use the machine with hard ingredients (coffee, ice-cubes, chocolate, etc.).
