04 Getting started
4. Set the temperature of the printhead to 150 degrees Celsius.
5. Allow the printhead to heat up to 150 degrees.
WARNING
: Do not touch the printhead while heating. Doing so risks serious injury.
6. Once the printhead reaches 150 degrees, set the temperature to 250 degrees.
7. Once it reaches 250 degrees (± 5 degrees), turn off the printhead temperature and allow it
to cool down to room temperature.
NOTE:
A faint burning smell can be caused by dust and other residue and is not necessarily a
cause for concern.
8. After cooling, remove the printhead from the printhead mount.
