5. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read these instructions thoroughly before using the appliance.
Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.
• The user will be liable for any injuries or risks consequence
of the use of this product. The distributor is not responsible
for any damage caused by the misuse of the machine. All
risks can be minimized following the instructions of use
below.
• For a safe use of the appliance, it must be connected to an
earthed power supply.
• Install the treadmill on an even and clean surface, leaving
at least 1-meter free space around it. Do not use it next to
water or outdoors.
• Check if the product components are in good conditions
before using it for the first time. In case they are damaged,
do not use the treadmill and contact the distributor.
• The treadmill is only for personal and indoor use, it cannot
be used for commercial purposes.
• Do not pull from the plug.
• Do not jump on the treadmill as it could cause damage to it.
• If the cord or plug has been damaged, do not use the product
in order to avoid electric problems.
• Do not try to repair the product by yourself, contact with a
professional instead.
• Turn off and clean the treadmill after each use. Turn it off
and disconnect it from the power supply before cleaning it.
• If the product is used on a carpet, please make sure the
ventilation grilles are not covered.
• The machine can only be used by one person at a time.
• Pregnant women MUST NOT use this product.
• If you have not practiced sports for a long time or you have
an orthopedic, heart or circulatory illness, check with your
doctor before using the appliance.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by another
specific cord supplied by Cecotec.
• Do not activate the treadmill while standing on it, it is
preferable to stay stood to the sides. If the starting speed
of the product is too high, do not jump on it, start using it
progressively.
• Do not stop walking suddenly, press the power button for
the treadmill to stop little by little. Stop walking when the
treadmill has stopped.
6. USAGE TIPS
•
This product has been tested and is designed for home use only, the manufacturer
therefore accepts no liability for other types of use (gyms, sport clubs, etc.).
•
Do not forget to attach the safety clip to one of your garments during your training. Use
sports shoes to train in your treadmill.
•
Keep pets away from the appliance.
•
This equipment must not bear loads of more than 120 kg.
•
This appliance is not designed to be used for treatment purposes.
•
In the event of dizziness, nausea, chest pain or any other unusual symptoms, stop
exercising immediately and consult your doctor.
•
Never start an exercise programme without consulting your doctor if you suffer or have
suffered any physical problem.
•
Do not expect to reach maximum training levels in the first few sessions You should start
each session with a gradual warm- up lasting 3-5 minutes. This is especially advisable for
people over 50 years. Later, decrease intensity until the end. If you start the session with
a very high rhythm, you run the risk of tiring very quickly and suffering injury. Never hold
your breath while exercising.

Do not exercise during the first 30-60 minutes before or after a meal.
•
The appliance is not intended to be used by children under the age of 8. It can be used by
children over the age of 8, as long as they are given continuous supervision.
•
This appliance can be used by children aged 8 and above, and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, as long as
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a
safe way and understand the hazards involved.
•
Keep this appliance and its power cord out of reach of children under the age of 8.
•
Cleaning and maintenance tasks must not be carried out by children.
