4 - OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

STOPPING THE UNIT

Stopping the engine

1. Lower the attachment and the dozer blade (if

equipped) until it is resting on the ground.

2. Turn the engine throttle button

(1)

to low idle position

and let the engine run for about

5 min

.

NOTICE:

in cold weather, let the engine run for about

10

min

at idle speed.

NOTICE:

always let the engine run at idle before switching

off completely, except in emergency situations.

3. Turn the ignition key

(2)

to the

OFF

position.

NOTE:

to activate the anti-theft protection when stopping

the engine, (refer to page

4-1

).

In the event of an emergency

In the event of an emergency or if it is not possible to stop
the engine using the ignition key, press the emergency
stop switch on the left side console

NOTICE:

this switch should only be used in case of an

emergency. Do not use this switch for usual engine stops.
