3 Password Setup
The Model 75 offers a programmable security password function. The password is fully
programmable up to 6 digits in length. When the password is set to ON, the Model 75
requires the operator to enter the correct password to gain access to edit mode, menu
mode, or batch mode. Recall and list options of memory mode can be accessed
without the password, but store and erase functions will require the correct password to
be entered. If an incorrect password is entered, the Model 75 will display an error
message and prompt the operator to press
to return to the run screen.
The password can be turned ON or OFF or changed by positioning the blue data
highlight cursor over
PASSWORD SETUP
on the Model 75 configuration menu and
pressing
. The Model 75 will require the operator to enter the current password to
gain access to the password setup menu. For extra security when entering the
password, the Model 75
will display an “X” in place of each character entered. See
Figure 4-12 below. The Model 75 password is set to 0 (zero) when shipped from the
factory.

If the correct password is entered, the Model 75 will display the password setup menu.
See Figure 4-13 below. To turn the password ON or OFF, position the blue data
highlight cursor over the “
PASSWORD IS CURRENTLY
:” data field and press
to
toggle the selection ON or OFF.
