Edited video file export
Exports video files edited with ImageMixer 3. Exported files can be played back with the camcorder.
Before exporting
Note the following:
You can export video files edited with ImageMixer 3 SE Ver.6.
When exporting non-edited files, refer to P.41 .
Free space of at least the same volume of data to be exported is required in the work space.
If you delete an edited file and add it to the Library again, the file cannot be used for [Edited video file export].
When exporting to an SD Memory card, use a card with an SD Speed Class rating.
A memory card rated CLASS 4 or higher is required to export the video files recorded in MXP mode and FXP
mode.
If the camcorder is disconnected from the computer while exporting, video files in the export destination may
be damaged.
When exporting to the camcorder (compliant camcorders only), always use the compact power adapter to
power the camcorder. Make sure that the USB cable is correctly connected to the computer.
You cannot export the files that were recorded in a video format or video system different from that of the
camcorder.
If exporting the video files to the camcorder would exceed the maximum number of scenes of the camcorder,
you can export as many scenes as possible until the maximum number of scenes is reached.
You can export up to 100 scenes at a time.
Always use the camcorder to initialize an SD Memory Card.
In the camcorder, exported files cannot be copied, divided, or added to the playlist.
You can save the exported files on the computer, as well as exporting them to the camcorder again. However,
these operations are not supported by the camcorder
For the sake of protecting your recordings, it is recommended to save all the video files in the camcorder onto
the computer before exporting.
