Troubleshooting

An Error Message Appears

Error number (*203) displayed

Installed printer driver not operating correctly.

Remove the installed Macintosh printer driver and then install the printer
driver again.

Uninstalling the Printer Driver

See the Quick Start Guide for details on installing the printer driver.

Error number (*300) displayed

Check the following.

• Printer is turned on?

• Printer cable is connected securely?

Make sure that the printer cable is securely fastened to the
computer and the printer.

If the problem cannot be solved, check the settings in the Chooser.

Select the Chooser from the Apple menu.

Click the S400 icon.

Make sure that S400 is specified in the “Connect to” box.
