Precautions to take in replacing the above parts:
1)
The combination of the new cleaner (with strengthened polishing pad) and the old corona wire
(with gold plating) will cause the plating on the old corona wire to come off, resulting in uneven
images. Therefore, never use this combination.
2)
Dirt on the corona wire of the pre-transfer corona assembly and the separation corona assembly
hardly affect images. Hence, conventional cleaner will be used.
3)
The methods to identify between the old and new corona wire, cleaner, guide pin, and felt holder
are as follows. (See tabulated information and the Figures below.)
