PRESS START KEY
The machine may have trouble. Press [Start] to restore all
settings to the default. If the
message persists, contact your
local authorized Canon dealer
or the Canon help line.
DOCUMENT TOO LONG
The document fed from the
ADF is longer than 630 mm, or
is not feeding correctly.
Scan the document on the
platen glass.
Reduce the length of
the document to within
630 mm, then try again.

FAILED TO WRITE*
Some kind of error occurred
in the machine when you are
scanning a document to a USB
memory (e.g., the USB memory
is disconnected from the
machine.).
Make sure that the USB
memory is inserted correctly to
the machine.
Press [OK] and try again.
FAILED TO WRITE
CHECK MEDIA*
USB memory locked or
with security function
is connected to the USB
memory port.

Release the lock on the
USB memory or use a USB
memory without security
function.

The type of the USB
memory connected to the
USB memory port is not
supported.

Use a USB memory with a
file system FAT16 or FAT32.

The USB memory is full of
data or the number of file
limit has reached.

Get enough space in the
USB memory or organize
your destination folder from
your computer.

CHECK THE FEEDER
A document jam may have
occurred in the ADF.
Remove the jammed
document.
