Trouble?
The red POWER/CHG indicator fla s he s rapidly ( one
fla s h at 0.5- s econd interval s ).
- The temperature of the battery pac k i s out s ide it s operating range
(approximately 0 – 40 °C). Remove the battery pac k , warm it or let
it cool down, a s nece ss ary, and try charging it again.
- Charge the battery pac k in temperature s between approximately
0 °C and 40 °C.
- The battery pac k i s damaged. U s e a different battery pac k .
- Charging ha s s topped becau s e the compact power adapter or the
battery pac k i s faulty. Con s ult a Canon S ervice Center.
Picture and S ound
A rattling can be heard from the camcorder.
- If it cannot be heard while the camcorder i s s et to recording mode,
then the rattling i s due to the movement of the internal len s fixture.
Thi s i s not a malfunction.

s trong electromagnetic field s (pla s ma TV s , cellular phone s , etc.).
