Face Detection and Tracking
The camcorder automatically detect s people’ s face s and k eep s the
s ubject in focu s and correctly expo s ed. To focu s on a per s on other than
the one the camcorder s elected, touch the de s ired face on the s creen
(trac k ing). You can al s o u s e trac k ing to alway s k eep in focu s other mov-
ing s ubject s , s uch a s pet s or moving vehicle s .

By default, face detection i s activated s o you can sk ip s tep 1 in the fol-
lowing procedure. If the function wa s turned off, perform the following
procedure s tarting from s tep 1.
