S aving and S haring Your Recording s
• Ma k e s ure you power the camcorder with the compact power
adapter before you s ave a memory to the external hard drive.
If the compact power adapter become s di s connected, the
connection between the camcorder and the hard drive will
end, which may lead to the corruption of data in the hard
drive.
• About memory s ave folder s :
- If you performed multiple memory s ave operation s on the
s ame day (for example, if you s aved the built-in memory
and then a memory card), the folder name of memory s ave
folder s following the fir s t one will end in a numerical s uffix
(for example, “-1”, “-2”).
- Up to 10 memory s ave folder s can be created for any given
date and up to 300 memory s ave folder s can be s aved on a
s ingle hard drive.
• You cannot u s e the following type s of external hard drive s . For
the late s t information on device s that can be u s ed, plea s e vi s it
your local Canon Web s ite.
- U S B-powered portable hard drive s .
- Hard drive s with a capacity over 2 TB.
- U S B fla s h drive s or media connected to card reader s .
• If the external hard drive i s partitioned, only the fir s t partition
will be recogni z ed.
