4 . Removing the pressure roller
1) Remove the fixing assembly. (See VII-A-
3 of this chapter.)
2) Push down the pressure releasing lever
[1] to remove the pressure.

3) Remove the 2 screws [2], and detach the
2 linking plates [3]. Be sure not to re-
move the spring [4].

N o t e : When removing the linking plate [2],
take care, as the spring [4] tends to
come off easily.
