Paper volume status bar

Indicates how much paper remains in the paper

cassette.

Paper feeder

The optional Canon 250 Sheet Paper Feed Unit PF-32 holds an

additional approximately 250 sheets of paper up to Legal in size (80 g/m

21 lbs.).

Standard paper cassette

The Canon 250 Sheet Universal Cassette UC-32,

which is also available as an option, holds approximately 250 sheets of A4-,
Letter-, B5-JIS-, Executive-, A5- or Legal-size paper (80 g/m

21 lbs.).

Power switch

Press to turn the printer on or off.

Face-up tray (opened)

Holds approximately 50 printed sheets (80 g/m

21 lbs.) delivered face up.

When a paper jam occurs inside the fixing assembly, pull the tray out to the
horizontal position and remove the paper.

CAUTION

• The fixing assembly and delivery areas may be hot. Wait until the

printer has completely cooled down to avoid personal injury. Do not
try to touch them while they are hot.

• If the fixing assembly is very hot, for example after printing a large

number of prints, turn off the printer before clearing a paper jam near
the fixing assembly from the face-up tray or from inside the top cover.
Wait until the fixing assembly has cooled down before clearing the
paper jam.
