Smoothing the Rough Edges of Certain Images

Images, such as those downloaded from websites, will sometimes develop rough and even jagged edges when
printed out. A better quality printout can be obtained by using Image Optimizer to smooth out these rough edges.

Note

The Image Optimizer function may not be as effective for some image resolutions and
when used with certain software applications.

Open the Printer Properties dialog box.

Opening the Printer Properties dialog box from your application program

Click the Effects tab.

Select the Image Optimizer check box.

Click OK.

Click Print in the Print dialog box.

Printing will now begin.
