7.2.4 Construction of image data with JBIG image compression encoding

Images are encoded in block units called stripes, as shown in the figure below.

After being encoded, the image data is referred to as BIE (Bi-level Image Entity), and is constructed from

the Bi-level Image Header (BIH) section and the Bi-level Image Data (BID) section shown in the figure
below.
